It is basically easy to reach Calaguas Island but of course, that is in the point of view of those who live in Daet or other nearby islets in the area of Camarines Norte. For the tour guide who helped us all get to Mahabang Buhangin Island, there were 2 ways to get to Calaguas.

The first waypoint is to get to Vinzon's where you can hire a boat to get to the white sand isolated virgin island. You will have to embark on a 2 hour boat ride to get to Calaguas Island. Another way to get there is to the local market (to which i forgot to list down). Anyway, the purpose of this blog is to simply introduce people to the island tours and tour packages and as promised, to help the tour guide who helped us in our tour to get his services out and a little bit of information easily accessible for people looking to get to Camarines Norte.

Please do note that Daet is a long 8-hour drive from Magallanes Manila to the bus terminal proper if you use a private car. By telecommute, I am not so sure how long it will take you. Probably by estimates, a 10-hour long ride will take you to Daet from Manila. It all depends on the driver and the car or transportation car you are using (in other cases it's a bus from Cubao).
